On the night before Christmas you will be welcomed by the glorious aroma of our secret recipe “Christmas in a glass” and delicious Christmas cake. Soak up the homely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere whilst enjoying a glass or two!
Gather around the Christmas trees and join the management and staff and your fellow guests for pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
A delicious three course meal will be served this evening in the candlelit Lonsdale Restaurant followed by coffee in the lounge bar.
After dinner the very talented female vocalist Miss Fiona Shaw returns and will keep you entertained.
The local Parish Churches welcome the community and visitors alike for midnight mass.
Father Christmas and his little helpers will greet you this morning with a Bellini cocktail to add some sparkle to your Full Cumbrian breakfast.
After breakfast for those of you who wish to simply relax in the comfort of the hotel why not try your hand at our many quizzes – for the winner of our quiz pack competition our prize is a future two night stay here at The Keswick Country House Hotel and for the two runners up we have fabulous hampers.
For the more adventurous, try our Keswick town trail challenge which has been set around the delightful market town of Keswick, this is the ideal opportunity to see areas of the town you would otherwise miss.
On your return relax tired feet and enjoy vegetable broth, homemade bread, and homemade hot chocolate pudding and custard.
Tonight the restaurant will look beautifully festive, with tables set in red and green where a fabulous Christmas dinner with all the traditional trimmings and seasonal touches will be served.
After dinner enjoy an evening of live entertainment in the lounge bar.
After a leisurely breakfast the day is yours to enjoy.
Keswick offers everything that a person who loves the outdoors could want, from fabulous fell walks to the serenity of Lake Derwentwater or for the shoppers amongst you what about some Boxing Day bargains!
The Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre will be here in the afternoon with a variety of different birds of prey, meet and handle these amazing birds yourself. This is an experience not to be missed.
Indulge yourself with a full afternoon tea, delicious sandwiches, scrumptious scones and all too tempting cream cakes.
Your farewell evening meal will be followed by live entertainment. Don’t forget your dancing shoes tonight!
